Originally from Michigan, Mr. Collier has served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, held major elective public office, and worked in the private sector during his diverse career. Following his graduation from West Point, and subsequent to his six years of service in the military, Mr. Collier served as the Chief of Staff for a U.S. Congressman, and was then elected as the youngest big city Mayor in the United States.  He served as “strong” Mayor in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer of Flint, Michigan from 1987 to 1991. Since that time, Mr. Collier has served in various and ascending capacities with a variety of high technology companies. These assignments have included over 13 years of President & CEO experience, company ownership, and stints in both private and public companies. In addition to assisting clients as a business operations and leadership consultant, Mr. Collier serves as a Senior Advisor with West End Partners, a Santa Barbara, California based business consulting company; and also as a speaker on effective leadership. He resides with his family in Thousand Oaks, California.
