TLDG at West Point Taps Digital Collaboration Platform
Thursday, October 19, 2017

PHILADELPHIA, October 19, 2017 - CorpU, the strategy activation company, and Thayer Leader Development Group (TLDG) at West Point, the premier leader development company, have today announced the rollout of a new partnership designed to help executives grow leadership capabilities and accelerate strategy implementation. Piloted by Mercedes Benz, Stryker, and Atlantic Broadband, the TLDG and CorpU partnership facilitates the exchange of ideas and best practices in a virtual setting, while generating powerful people analytics that give business leaders visibility into challenges faced by teams and the trend line for strategy execution.

“TLDG’s leader development programs have proven incredibly successful to C-level executives at many of America’s greatest companies,” said Dan Rice, President of the Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point. “CorpU’s technology is allowing us to cascade those same lessons throughout fragmented organizations in a new offering called TLDG Online, thereby aligning senior leadership with front line managers, and helping to rapidly change cultures and achieve desired results. TLDG Online leverages social media-inspired features from CorpU’s platform, which we call Thayer Social Leadership.”

During expert-led discussions and targeted “strategy sprints,” business leaders use CorpU technology embedded in TLDG Online to communicate critical content and strategies, while collecting real-time data to map strategic engagement indicators, such as whether employees demonstrate understanding, commitment to action, and willingness to collaborate. Over time, these analytics allow executives to harvest insights from thousands of employee interactions to close skills gaps and drive strategy execution across big teams, often scattered across the globe.

Among the experts now available on CorpU and TLDG Online is Brigadier General (Retired) Rebecca “Becky” Halstead, the first woman graduate of West Point to be promoted to General Officer, and author of Leadership: The First Person You Must Lead is You. In another TLDG Online ”strategy sprint”, Colonel (Retired) Thomas “Tom” Magness imparts principles and tools for leading a high-performing team. Both are well-respected faculty members of TLDG at West Point.

“The leaders who will succeed in the new world of work understand that technology is the best way to achieve organizational superintelligence,” said Alan Todd, Chief Executive Officer of CorpU. “Our analytics and AI-driven platform, combined with TLDG’s excellent leadership content, is transforming the way companies approach both leadership development and strategy execution.”
