Program Overview

Superior leadership principles, values, and ethics

This exclusive program is offered only to alumni of our Battle-Tested Open Enrollment and Women’s Open Enrollment programs, who are seasoned leaders across all industries. This alumni-only program blends an online course that includes both refresher and new content with a new onsite program at West Point. You will interact with, and learn from, some of our most respected and experienced faculty, who will transform into mentors and supporters. Brigadier General (Ret.) Maureen LeBoeuf, Ed.D., one of our most popular Open Enrollment faculty, will continue to guide you every step of the way as one of two Senior Advisors for the program, along with Major General (Ret.) Keith Thurgood, Ph.D.

Leverage and build on prior learnings to continue your leadership journey. Meaningful leadership concepts, such as creating and influencing high-performing teams, will be honed with experiential activities that capture lessons and make linkages to help you lead more powerful teams. The immersive experience also builds your professional network by developing close relationships with diverse participants and faculty members. Come back to West Point to refresh your skill set, flex your leadership muscle with new challenges, and re-energize yourself as a dynamic leader.

Transformational, Innovative and Empowering

Ross Brown, Special Assistant to the COO
Dan Rice, President of Thayer Leadership, spoke with the senior management of Point72 from Ukraine during an air raid about leadership, the relevance of Thayer's Leadership's curriculum for business leaders, and the diplomatic, informational, military, and economic conditions facing the Ukrainian nation and its military. Addressing any of these topics well would be a tall feat for anyone, but Dan was able to expertly navigate all and left such a positive and powerful impression that Point72’s leaders were eager to hear more from Dan and the Thayer team! And while nothing is ever truly ‘plug and play’, working with Dan and his team is the closest thing you’ll find in corporate leadership development today based on my experience. Again, a superb discussion led by a talented professional that was made possible by an equally talented and professional team. I simply can’t recommend Thayer Leadership highly enough!
